This week we would like to provide you with some construction updates from projects around the Pattaya area. The first project we would like to update you on is Aurora Pratumnak. It has an expected completion date of August 8 2017.

This week I would like to talk about an experience a client had while looking for a condo for rent in Jomtien.

Hopefully the rainy season will bring us a respite from the hot temperatures we have been experiencing throughout Thailand and bring the water that is much needed by the people in the Northeast, who have been especially hard hit by the drought.

The progress on Whale Marina will be even faster as the developer has finished construction on Natureza Art and Private Paradise. A workers village is being constructed at the site and things should be moving along quite quickly.

It is that time of year again when Pattaya is invaded by the squirt gun armies celebrating Songkran. Our office will be closed from the 11th through the 19th so our staff can enjoy the festivities. We will reopen on the 20th.

Instead of writing about Pattaya real estate this week we are going to try to provide some helpful information to those who may be new to Pattaya as well as those of you who have lived n the area for a while.

Whale Marina is a new condo project in Na Jomtien. The project was launched in 2015 amid much fanfare and progress has continued at a steady pace. Whale Marina has already garnered EIA approval and the project has been authorised by the Thai Marina Department.

This week I am going to take a break from the “Do You Live in Pattaya” series and take a look at a few of the things we have been hearing about the real estate market in Pattaya and get your opinion with a short survey at the end of the article.


In this third part of our series on the areas that make up “Greater Pattaya” we are going over to the Dark Side. 

No, we are not talking about anything to do with Star Wars but rather the area to the east of Sukhumvit Road.  

Last week was the first in a multi-part series where we look at some of the areas that make up “Greater Pattaya.” In that article we looked at the Jomtien Beach area.

This week we will move east and explore some of the things that Jomtien has to offer that are not on the beach.

If you ask any of the residents here if they live in Pattaya you will probably get answers like “I live in East Pattaya” or “I live in Naklua” or Jomtien.

While they may sound like separate cities in fact they are all a part of Pattaya.

The vast majority of the condos in the Pattaya area are rented fully or at least partially furnished.

So, how hard is it to furnish, decorate and equip a condo that will be used as a rental without breaking the bank? 

Finding the right house or condo to rent can sometimes be a frustrating process. 

Many things can go wrong if you have not taken the time to do some research, find a good agent or both.

Occasionally we get calls or emails from property owners wondering why there has not been anyone interested in their house or condo for sale. Sometimes a quick look at the property on our website will reveal the answer.

Is the Pattaya property market set to rebound this year?

According to a recent report by Pattaya One there are as many as 20 new condominium developments schedule to be completed in Pattaya and Jomtien by the end of the year.

Clients often ask if it is better to buy a condo off plan or one that is completed.

When answering this question we first try to figure out what their needs are and why they are buying the condo in the first place.

According to recent research conducted by Colliers International the main concern for the Pattaya condo market for the remainder of 2015 will be “The unit transfer period and the number of unsold units”

A little more than ninety minutes’ drive from Suvarnabhumi International airport in Bangkok, Bang Saray is a quiet fishing village situated on Thailand's Eastern seaboard.

Jomtien Beach is approximately 6 km of sandy beach located about 2 km from South Pattaya and 4 km from Pattaya City. It has been a popular place for those who enjoy tranquillity and would like to escape from the hustle and bustle of the entertainment area.

There are several options for buying a residential property in and around the area of Pattaya.
